Plan your transportation!

There are a lot of different types of transportation in USA. Usually students are introduced to transportation system in pre-orientation or by the employer upon arrival.

Students living in small resort towns usually travel to job site on foot or by bicycle. Bicycle is the most convenient way to reach your job in small towns.

In bigger cities it is usual that students choose:

  • To buy a cheap car (Americans call it Junky cars).  It will cost you from 200USD and up. Don’t forget about insurance!
  • Subways, buses, trains are other cheap ways to reach your destination.
